WURZENER yellow peas offer you a big advantage – there is no need for soaking and they have a short cooking time. The peas no longer have a shell, which means they cook particularly quickly and creamily. This saves you time and allows you to quickly conjure up delicious dishes. Whether as a savoury puree, in stews or in salads – the possibilities are endless. Our delicious peas have an impressively fine, nutty flavour and are your perfect partner in the kitchen.

Cooking instructions

Sort and wash the peas before cooking. Then cook in plenty of water (approx. 3 to 4 times the amount of peas) for approx. 30 minutes until they reach the desired consistency. Note: hard water and cooking additives, such as salt, can increase the cooking time.
