WURZENER basmati rice from the fertile foothills of the Himalayas combines tradition and quality with its unique, aromatic flavour and particularly long, tender grains. Matured under optimum conditions, this fine rice variety has an impressively fine, nutty flavour and light, grainy consistency. Whether as a side dish, in a main course or in a salad, this rice is a real treat for connoisseurs.

Cooking instructions

2 portions = approx. 125 g rice, approx. 1 litre water. Bring the water to the boil, salt lightly and add the rice to the boiling salted water. Cook over a medium heat for approx. 10 mins until it reaches the desired consistency. Drain the water and leave the finished rice to drain well in a sieve. Note: hard water can prolong the cooking time.
