Easy-cook parboiled long grain rice with vegetables

Preparation on the stove

Pour 350 ml cold water into a pan and stir in the contents of the bag. Bring the vegetable rice to the boil and simmer uncovered for approx. 5 minutes until the rice has absorbed all the liquid, stirring occasionally. At the end of the cooking time, stir in approx. 10 g butter for flavour. Leave the finished rice to infuse briefly, stir again and serve as a side dish with stir-fried meat, for example. Hard water can prolong the cooking time.

Preparation in the microwave

Pour 250 ml of cold water and the contents of the bag into a microwave container, stir well and cover. Heat for 7–8 minutes at 750 W, stirring occasionally and then refine with 10 g butter

A quick tip: Cut smoked salmon into strips, add to the finished vegetable rice and serve sprinkled with fresh herbs. Enjoy your meal!
