WURZENER medium pearl barley is made from high-quality barley. Careful peeling, polishing and pearling give it its typical medium pearl shape. It contains valuable fibre and is naturally low in fat. Discover the many possible uses in your kitchen – whether as a soup garnish, in bowls or as a salad – simply cook, combine as you like and enjoy.

Cooking instructions

For 4 portions: Add 200 g medium pearl barley to 1.5 litres of boiling salted water, bring to the boil briefly and leave to swell over a low heat for approx. 25 mins. Then rinse with cold water, drain and prepare as desired.
