Rice or pasta? Our WURZENER pasta rice is not rice in the classic sense – it is simply called that because it has the shape of a grain of rice. That’s because pasta rice is a pasta product made from 100 percent durum wheat semolina. It is suitable as a main pasta dish, as a side dish or for salads.

Incidentally, pasta rice is better known from Greek cuisine under the name ‘kritharaki’. Here, it is often served as a side dish with lamb dishes. The pasta rice also scores highly as a pasta salad – for your guests at the next barbecue party or for yourself.

Cooking instructions

Place the pasta and rice in plenty of boiling salted water (approx. 1 litre of water per 100 g) and cook for approx. 8-10 minutes until al dente.

Mal was anderes als klassischer Reis

Die Konsistenz ist angenehm bissfest und meine Kinder lieben ihn mit Tomatensoße.
